Ride of a Lifetime!

I'm on the road but wanted to let you in on my adventure! I'm on my way to New Orleans to ride in the Krewe of Iris parade this Saturday! Some of you already know that my sister is a resident of NOLA which is why I travel there yearly and have such an amazing affection for the Big Easy!!! Well, about a year ago we were invited to become members of the oldest and largest all women's Mardi Gras Krewe, Iris. We jumped at the opportunity and have been excitedly waiting for nearly a year to make our Krewe of Iris debut. We've been measured for costumes, bought our beads and have our float position assignments, all that's left to do is RIDE!!! We will be taking part in festivities leading up to the big day and then rolling in the parade on Saturday morning! I'll be sure to post pics as I get them!
